Mike Conklin,
President
Chef Michael Conklin is a native of Portland. A graduate of David Douglas High School culinary program, Michael attended classes at Portland State University. He began his career at the Benson Hotel under the tutelage of Chef Xaviar Bauser. Throughout the years, Mike worked in Las Vegas, the Oregon Coast and Portland honing his skills. As Chef and Owner of Lucy’s Table on NW 21st and Irving, Michael is active in the community. For the past three years, Michael has acted as the Chef Chair for the March of Dimes Signature Chef Auction. In addition, Michael donates to locate charities and supports Nob Hill business efforts in the local community.

Pat Fiedler,
Board Member
Pat Fiedler is a native Portlander, attended Portland State University and U. of Hawaii majoring in Business Ed.
In 1982 she and her husband Dale opened their first toy store in Gresham and in 1995 purchased Child’s Play Toys.
Pat has been a member of NHBA since 1995. She belongs to ASTRA (A National Specialty Toy Organization) and is a Mt. Hood Community College Board Member. She marvels at the vitality and sense of community that exists in Nob Hill and feels fortunate to be part of the neighborhood.
Kay Wolfe, Secretary
Wolfe is a native of Grants Pass, Oregon, and graduated from Whitworth College in Spokane. She has a background in outdoor advertising and in 1992 launched a career in residential lending. Wolfe has worked for HomeStreet Bank for the past six years and is a residential loan officer for the bank’s NW Portland branch at 23rd Avenue and Burnside. Wolfe joined the NHBA Board of Directors in 2004. In her spare time, she volunteers with the Community Transitional School.

Anderson is a Business Development Manager for the Portland Business Alliance and a former President of the Nob Hill Business Association.

Cana Flug, Board Member
Christine Blake, Treasurer
Christine Blake received her B.S. in HDFS with a focus on Special Education along with a minor in Business Administration from Oregon State University in 2004. She began her banking career with Washington Mutual at that time and has been with HomeStreet Bank since 2006. Christine Worked at the Lake Oswego Branch of HomeStreet until she transferred to the NW Portland Branch on 23rd Ave and Burnside in April 2008. She was an active member of the Lake Oswego business community and volunteered to help organize many events for non-profit organizations in the Portland Area. Christine now runs the NW Portland office on 23rd Ave and joined the NHBA board January of 2010.

Wendy Beyer, Board Member – Memberships
Wendy Beyer is aA relationship Manager for Heartland Payment Systems and a member of the NHBA since December 2007. Wendy has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon and loves to watch duck games! During her free time, Wendy enjoys her family, reading, playing with her dogs and going to the beach. Wendy has been a volunteer for the NHBA’s membership committee for the past two years and now serves on the board as head of that committee.
