About Northwest Library
Northwest Library opened in 2001 in a historic Northwest Portland building that has been home to a pharmacy, a potter’s workshop and, most recently, a winery and café.
This library offers books as well as audio and visual materials, periodicals and electronic resources in English and Spanish that can be accessed on site or from a home computer. Northwest customers have access to Multnomah County Library’s systemwide catalog of two million books and other library materials.
Visit the Northwest Library website for programs. Northwest’s meeting room is available for free for community meetings and events on a first-come basis and has space for 30 people.
